Little Soccer Stars May Half Term Holiday Camps in Islington

If you are looking for a May Half Term Holiday Camp in Islington for your budding footballers, check out Little Soccer Stars Camps in Clissold Park. As a mum of two boys living in the shadow of the Arsenal Stadium in Highbury, I have quickly discovered that football is a real passion in this neighbourhood! I have tried out several football classes in Islington over the last few years with my 6 and 3 year old boys. I can honestly say that they have both always hugely enjoyed Little Soccer Stars classes primarily due to the really friendly and encouraging nature of the coaches. My elder boy was initially not very confident on the pitch but the coaches took him under their wing and within a few weeks our Thursday afternoon football class became a firm favourite!

The coaching team will do their utmost to welcome even the most shy or reluctant child on to the pitch. They cater equally well for those who show a little more promise as the next potential David Beckham or Theo Walcott! I am pleased to say that it is one of the few football classes which actually succeeds in getting girls to come along.

Little Soccer Stars camps and classes for 5 years plus start with a warm up and a number of fun exercises to develop football skills through exciting games and drills. They also introduce match play to coach positions and general understanding of the game. All courses are run by highly qualified Football Association Coaches.

Little Soccer Stars will be running May Half Term Holiday Camps in Clissold Park and Loyds Park, Walthamstow for 5 to 11 year olds. The camps run from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm and cost £30 per day. They are always hugely popular and places book up fast!

Little Soccer Stars also run weekly after school football classes in Islington, Stoke Newington across various venues with structured classes for ages 3 to 11 years. Both my boys started off at Tiny Stars classes for ages 3 to 4. The focus for this age group is on fun games, activities and equipment to teach the children colour recognition, numeracy skills, balance, co-ordination as well as basic football skills. Parents can choose how much they want to get involved in the class which suits everyone from footy mad mums and dads to those who prefer to spectate the sidelines!

Little Soccer Stars can also offer a Sports themed birthday party package at a venue of your choice covering a range of sports at very competitive prices.

Little Soccer Stars classes are run by the Access to Sports project, a community led sports development charity working in Islington, Haringey & Hackney. The charity provides opportunities for young people in the area to obtain qualifications in sports coaching so by enjoying Little Soccer Stars camps and classes you can help to support a great local charity!
